Data Processing in the Context of Our Website

When you visit our website and in the course of operating this website, some personal data is transmitted and processed.

Operation of the Website

The operator of our pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Accessed page or file
  • Anonymized IP address
  • Operating system used
  • Browser type and version
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of the server request
  • Notification whether the retrieval was successful
  • Transferred data volume

This data is not merged with other data sources. The IP address is only stored in anonymized form, so that no personal reference is possible.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation, the possibility of error analysis in case of errors, and the optimization of this website; for this we need the server log files.

The anonymized data is also evaluated for statistical purposes and to improve the offer; it is no longer possible to draw conclusions about you as a person.

The operation of this website takes place in a data center in Germany. We have agreed on commissioned data processing with our provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, so that the protection of the data is ensured when operating the site.

Protection During Transmission

For security reasons and to protect transmitted data, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and a lock symbol appears in your browser bar. Encrypted transmission prevents third parties from reading the content.

Cookies

We avoid cookies on our website as much as possible. However, the framework we use for the website requires the storage of a session token to maintain the current state of the site visit and to enable, for example, form functions. This is a technically necessary cookie for us, and we store it on the basis of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR for the purpose of enabling smooth use of the website and form functions for you. The session token is deleted at the end of the session.

The cookie does not harm your computer and does not contain viruses. It is merely a small text file that is stored on your computer via your browser and can be read again the next time you load the page.

Data Processing in the Context of Contact

E-Mails

If you contact us by e-mail, the e-mail will be stored by us and used to process your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing is based on your voluntary consent by sending us the e-mail. You can revoke your consent at any time. In this case, we would delete the e-mail. If the e-mail is related to an order, we process it on the basis of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

If the e-mail has already been archived in a legally compliant manner, it will remain in the archive for legal reasons until the end of the retention period.

Data Processing in the Context of an Order

If you as a customer request services or products from us, we process your necessary data for the purpose of fulfilling the contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). This includes contact data. We use it, for example, to create individual offers or to contact you. In addition to creation, we need the data for billing.
